When can I claim

Unfair Dismissal

You can claim if:

• You have been employed for more than a year; and
• You have been unfairly dismissed; and
• You make a claim within 3 months

Redundancy

You may qualify if you have been continuously employed for more than 2 years and are not:

• Dismissed for gross misconduct
• Offered re-employment or has refused an alternative suitable position
• Resignation during notice period
• Employees who have contracted out of their entitlement

Maternity Rights

Your maternity rights include rights to:

• Time off for ante natal care
• Maternity leave and pay
• Return to work after extended maternity leave
• Alternative work or payment if suspended for maternity reasons
• Not to be dismissed for maternity or childbirth reasons
