I am solicitor and I qualified in 2000, joining John Hodge Solicitors in 2009.
What is your specialist area of law?
Family Law is my legal specialism and I deal with Divorce, Post Separation Financial Arrangements, the breakdown of Cohabitation and Parenting after Parting. I can also provide on pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?
The benefit of approaching problems in a practical, common sense way. I am committed to communicating in plain English; ensuring fees are clearly explained at the outset and to being flexible with appointment times and locations.
What do you think makes a good lawyer?
In family law in particular, employing a non-confrontational approach to resolving issues on behalf of clients; preserving dignity and being a good listener.
Do you belong to any Panels or Associations which show you have reached a notable level of expertise and experience in your specialist area of law?
I am qualified as a Resolution Accredited Specialist with particular expertise in Financial Provision and Cohabitation. Resolution is a national organisation of family lawyers committed to dealing with family problems in a non-confrontational manner.

I have been researching my family tree and have so far managed to trace my ancestry right back to 1783!
