Tell us about yourself

I am a Solicitor. I qualified in January 2009 and began working at John Hodge Solicitors in 2016. I became a Partner in 2020.

What is your specialist area of law?

Private Client work including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax Planning Advice, Lasting and Enduring Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.

What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?

I have over ten years' experience in acting for clients in a variety of Private Client matters. I offer advice in a friendly and efficient manner and sensitively guide clients through the probate process. I can advise on the numerous tax and legal issues that need to be considered when preparing Wills and dealing with the Administration of Trusts and Estates. I can meet clients at one of our offices or at their home if more convenient.

Do you belong to any Panels or Associations which show you have reached a notable level of expertise and experience in your specialist area of law?

I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and currently sit on the STEP Bristol Committee.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

Meeting clients, tailoring my advice to their circumstances and the variation of work that I deal with.
