Many people have never set foot inside a court building and wouldn’t dream of doing so without a lawyer to guide them through the process. However, more so than ever before, people are having to represent themselves in family court cases.

If you find yourself having to deal with a family court case about the financial aspects of your divorce and you do not have a lawyer, our specialist Family Law Team are pleased to announce that we are holding a seminar in order to assist you with the practicalities of attending court during financial proceedings. Our experienced team of Family litigators will give you an insight into how District Judges reach their decisions, how to prepare for each stage of the court proceedings and what are the best tactics to use and why. Whilst it is no substitute for legal advice or representation, this guidance and information will mean that you can focus on the actual issues that are affecting your family.

At John Hodge Solicitors, we understand that representing yourself in court can be daunting. Our Family Law Team has a proven track record and specialism in family law and has years of experience in family litigation. Our team members have been awarded membership of various family panels and associations and are therefore ideally placed to provide you with the information, insight and guidance that you will need during this difficult period.

The seminar will also offer you the unique opportunity to ask our experienced Family Law Team lawyers questions about the process that you will face, however, our team will not be in a position to provide advice about your individual case but will provide a valuable insight into the court process and practicalities.

The seminar will take place at our Bristol office, located at 4 Whiteladies Road, Clifton, BS8 1PD on the 20th April 2015.

The seminar will last for approximately one and a half hours and will cost £100 Per person.
