Tell us about yourself

I joined John Hodge Solicitors in 2018 as a CILEx Level 3 Apprentice. I successfully completed my apprenticeship and Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice, qualifying as ACILEx in January 2021. I am continuing my studies to become a Level 6 Chartered Legal Executive.

What is your specialist area of law?

I specialise in personal injury litigation.

I have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of cases including claimants who have suffered brain injuries and life-long disabilities. I have a vast amount of experience in assisting with cases where claimants have been involved in road traffic accidents, accidents at work, product liability claims, public liability claims and trips and slips.

What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?

I offer a sympathetic ear to clients who are going through a difficult time. I know first-hand the effect injuries can have on your day to day life, and I therefore understand your pain and frustration.

What do you think makes a good lawyer?

For me, a good lawyer is someone who can make a challenging period be as stress free as possible. Someone who is approachable, an active listener, and provides clear advice making complex legal jargon easy to understand.

What do you most enjoy about your role?

I enjoy the variety of the role as no client or their circumstance is ever the same. A lot of claims can take a few years to settle and I enjoy building the relationship with clients throughout this time, seeing the case from start to finish.

A message to clients:

You might be having to take time off work causing financial hardship, or be in pain due to your injuries, or not be able to do your hobbies you once enjoyed. It is therefore important that you have a lawyer instructed to support you and to be able to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family.
