I am a solicitor; I qualified in 2005 and joined John Hodge Solicitors in 2009.
What is your specialist area of law?
I deal with all areas of residential property including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages.
- Property transfers following matrimonial breakdown or death.
- Equity release.
- Lease extensions.
- Auction work.
- First registrations of unregistered land.
- Adverse possession applications.
What do you offer clients of John Hodge Solicitors?
Clarity in communication; approachability and determination to get the results desired by my clients.
I focus on clients' needs and explain complex situations in simple terms.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy being part of a respected and professional firm; using my skills to guide our clients through what can be a very stressful time in their lives.
A message for clients
I place a high importance on client care; I have no problem with going out of my way to reduce any stress my clients could potentially receive.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
I take an interest in social justice and have worked as a volunteer for the North Somerset Youth Offending Team as a Community Panel Member.
And on a non-legal note...
I have an interest in sports and in my spare time enjoy taking part in long-distance running events.
