Tell us about yourself

I am a Consultant Solicitor. I qualified in 1997.

I trained and worked for my first years in the law at Thames Valley firms, before relocating to the South West in 2001.

I joined John Hodge Solicitors in December 2022 as a consultant having previously worked as a solicitor and consultant for a number of South West firms, including as Head of a Litigation Department in a large Exeter firm.

I specialise in a wide range of disputes:

I have over 27 years’ experience now, solely in litigation work.

I enjoy the pitting of wits and the deployment of the law for the best result.

A Message for clients:

Not every case needs to go to trial and cost a small fortune. Proper use of the Court process allied to Alternative Dispute Resolution methods (Mediation, without prejudice negotiation,  reliance upon an arbitrator, et al) can usually achieve a speedier result that all parties can accept.
